This is a repost, at the request of Smasher, (acording to my memory ) of a topic that was put up on the old h&g boad at the request of Smasher... Normaly there is about 160k of archive on the calc, but there is a way to increase the amount availble to you by about 32k I think. For this you will need 2 calcs, A and B. B will need good battries. A will be needed only a little bit, and B will get the memory. 1: Link A and B 2: Start a BC xfer between the 2, and cancel it (at this point u could be nasty and leave the other calc like that..) 3: turn B off 4: press del(?) a few times while presing on you should see Testing Flash......5: turn it off (pull the batteries i think) 6: when its on it will say ram cleared but if u goto mem menu, you should see more archive space! Warning!: there is a price for this memory.... 1: DONT GarbageCollet!! it will usally freeze ur calc, although the run indicator will be really freaky.. 2: NO APPS! sorry marige lovers, but you better get ion, else you'll just crash ur calc. This is bad for you hackers too becuase you cant run Calcsys 3: If you decide you want to get bak to normal, you must goto Reset All Memory (although it doesnt seem to kill apps) Basicly this is a cool way to get storage for progs and and to try out a lot more basic and asm games, but not for using the archive often. Remmber, if you think a program uses archive, dont run it. Else, RAM Cleared

Sweet... it's a shame I don't need it anymore . I'm using a se now, which has an obsene amount of archive memory... I just wish they had added some RAM as well. Thanks for posting it anyway!
