When Omnicalc released, I decided to take a break from my major projects and get accustomed to the new functions. The result of this is the creation of the Linkport toolbox, a program that takes advantage of Omnicalc's Link functions.
Currently the program can read the linkport, send a 'link macro', a set of values to send the linkport, complete with delays, and do a special 'Echo' mode, which bounces back whatever is sent to it (Try it with ZTetris).
Any suggestions to what else can be added? I would greatly appreciate it. Version 1.0 will be downloadable from Ticalc.org soon (I hope).

i found a bug in omnicalc...sometimes it will give you can err:link for absolutly no reason at all...and sometimes, in the exact situation, it will work fine...and it's REALLY messing up my realtime chat program (btw which i've already made a working beta of, if anyone wants me to send it to them let me know)

Well, try this. Enter the link menu and send something while the other calc is doing alot of linkget's. Press [ON]. Hey, an error link! I have no idea what is causing that, though.

well...it's weird, i made a realtime chat program, when i send stuff from my silver to my regular, it works fine, when i send stuff from my regular to my silver it sends it, but there's about 2-7 spaces in front of the message, and when i returns to the loop, at the "if 1=linkget(0" command, i keep getting an err:lik

I think I know what the problem is now. The TI-83Plus Silver's Linking works differently, and not as well as previous calculators. For the 83plusSE, there is no way to tell if the link failed; I think that this is mentioned in the omnicalc user's manual (check there for more info.)

I wouldn't trust that location. Omnicalc tends to report errors beyond where it actually occurred. Even Breaking during a Pause does this

If you copy a lot of stuff to the omnicalc clipboard, it overflows into the y= equations. If you put your currsor over the garbadge, some really strange stuff happens.

How can it do that? I saw it screw the y= equations before but the clipboard? It puts it in a appvar!

i guess i was to vague, i meant the extra commands, i think that it writes them to the os area in the flash ROM(it's got 3 64kb sections to store it in) perhaps he got the area to put them in wrong, and ended up putting them around the yvar part
