Trust me, TASM is way better. ZDS wasn't designed for compiling ASM programs, so you'll have to manually edit the output. Then you'll need to send the hex file through another program to get a .8xp file or paste the contents thereof into wlink.

hehe, lemme guess, you're getting an error message saying that the file doesn't exist or something right?
you probably made the most common mistake (i made it too, along with almost everybody else i know who's tried compiling asm programs) you have to change to the tasm directory so if your tasm directory was "c:\tasm" then you'd have to type (in the command prompt) "cd c:\tasm" before you could compile your program
