Well, my current flash gordon has the following negatives:
1. It can only have so many programs unarchived at a time.
2. It uses stupid names like theta1,theta0, etc.
3. It requires too many subroutines.
4. It doesn't give programmers enough flexibility.
5. The new version will be faster (it won't use TI's romcall to copy data from the archive; it will use it's own code to do it)
How will this new prog be better than ti-os or other programs, which archive and unarchive programs?
1. No garbage collect needed!!!
2. It never deletes anything from flash rom, or writes to flash rom!
3. Faster than archiving and unarchiving!
I think I already posted this elsewhere on the board, but now this new program officially is named Flash Guardian!

That will be a much better version of flash gordon. I will download it when it is ready, it will be very versitile, like omnicalc, and symbolic.

the only possible way for you not to have a problem with omnicalc is if you never use it, and on top of that micheal vincent has such a big ego he thinks that if you're having errors with omnicalc that it MUST be a problem with your coding and not his, because his is perfect

YES Omnicalc IS the buggiest program I have yet to find. For example, anyone who (somehow miraculously) has had no problems with it, when you uninstall it, say yes to "remove illegal tokens". I really wish Vincent would realize that this and the hundred other bugs actually DO exist and release another version in which he at least ATTEMPTS to make a working program... don't get me wrong, it's a great program (well, more of a great IDEA, cuz the program falls short of the concept...) but it needs updating. And it REALLY needs support for TI-OS v1.15 and greater so the tokens don't get all screwed.
