Hi guys, just wanted to ask anyone if they know how to program text scrolling (up to down) in basic programming?

Yes, I do know of a way to make vertical scrolling text in basic.
[string]->Str1 ;store the text you want to scroll in this string variable For(B,0,[number of lines to scroll] For(A,0,[number of lines of text] Text(6A+B,1,sub(str1,1+16A,16 ;16 can be replaced with the number of characters in each line of text End End
If you want the text to scroll down, switch the beginning and end values of the B for loop and make the increment -1. You'll also need to erase the row of pixels below the bottom line of text each time it scrolls.

but i couldn't really understand what you said, im sorry but i am still a beginner...
if it would be possible can anyone tell me an easier way to do a vertical text scrolling....

There isn't an easier way to scroll a block of text. In fact, if you want to scroll text that is longer than the screen, the code would be even more complex.
Maybe it would be easier to understand how to scroll a single line of text.

I did what you said, for your first scrolling program, but it says error invalid dim and goes to right after the last 16 where you say it can be replaced... Whats wrong?
