I asked this question for the other way around, but is there a way to store a string to a #variable. Like
"123"->str1 could you get A to equal 123 in a program without just entering it in again?

Yes, and very easily too, I might add. Suppose str1="123" and you want A to equal 123. All you need to do is this: expr(str1->A
