hi, im just wondering if you guys can help me. i am a beginner so i really dont know what to do. what tools do you use to create games for your ti 83 plus.

You need a program called TASM which will compile z80 source code. Then you need devpac8x to convert compiled code into .8xp format. If you're a beginner, I recommend getting a set of assembly tutorials called asmguru.

are you refering to game programming period, or asm programming? cause you can program games in BASIC right on your calc (btw for asm i use TASM also)

actually i am planning to do basic program, but i dont have the clue how... and after learning, i might do some asm programming........

If you want to program in basic, read the guide that comes with the calculator. Chapter 16 is about programming.

that's just the basic logic and program routing commands, you need to read a lot of the other sections too if you want to learn, and the kevtiva tutorials are supposed to be very good too (if the backup site is still up)
